Check of an application form : A completed application form by an applicant will be checked thoroughly by
DBC staff.
VISA Application : DBC will submit Students’ VISA application form to Immigration Bureau of Japan
Announcement of VISA acceptance result : Immigration Bureau of Japan will notice the VISA acceptance
result to DBC.
Payment of Tuition : The student who has passed VISA application pays a tuition to DBC.
A letter of admission : If the payment of tuition is confirmed, DBC will send a letter of admission and a
certificate of residence qualification to an applicant.
VISA ISSUE : An applicant submits a letter of admission and a certificate of residence qualification with
passport to Japanese Embassy to an applicant’s country and obtains a student VISA.
Departure : An applicant departs for Japan on time not to be late for a school entrance ceremony.
Pick-up Service : If there is a request by an applicant, DBC will provides a pick-up service.
Entrance into a School : All students will join a school entrance ceremony and take placement tests and
have a orientation for a general school life. All students will be placed into the most suitable class based on
placement tests’ result.

3 months Program
When you have arrived at Narita Airport, show a letter of admission issued by DBC to an immigration inspector
and write down the purpose of the entrance into Japan at an immigration form, which is “ Short term language
study”.
A student who has just finished a short term program can join a regular program if there is his/her advanced
notice. A student who want to join only a short term program will take the lesson for Japanese conversation.
4 weeks, 8 weeks Special Program
When you have arrived at Narita Airport, write down the purpose of the entrance into Japan, at an immigration
form, which is “ Short term language study & Tour of Japan”. You can be entered into Japan with no VISA and
can stay in Japan maximum for 90 days.
Someone who has a Working Holiday VISA
Someone who has a one year working holiday VISA can apply for DBC’s regular or short term program. He/she
will be placed into the most suitable class based on placement tests’ result.
If there is a request by an applicant who has a qualified Japanese skill, DBC will introduce a part time job
though the recruit company which has a partnership with DBC.
